Chocolate art

To be honest I randomly typed in ''chocolate art'' in google images, I were thinking about chocolate - SURPRISE - but what a killer in the middle of a loooong school day. I began to wunder if some people out there had challenged their creative skills with using chocolate. And yes, among the 7 billion people on this earth there is some who went all the way to ... Art with chocolate. Of couse we all know the beautiful eggs for easter, but I were thinking bigger;

Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate . . .

Chocolate goes with - I almost said it - everything.

Who doesn't like peppermint covered in chocolate, raisins covered in chocolate, nuts covered in chocolate, chocolate-chip pancakes, chocolate mousse, chocolate bars, nutella on your toasted bread, and not to forget fresh fruit dipped in chocolate - the best.

I found this website with the ''101 best chocolate recipes for chocolate lovers'', as it appears I'm a chocoholic, and do not understand people who isn't, but this page gets really creative with the chocolate, maybe a little to much after my taste, I don't know about ''cocoa and scrambled eggs'' ,  ''mixed greens, spiced pecans & Goat cheese with dark chocolate'' , ''fried duck with chocolate port reduction''  and ''chocolate levender tarts'' creative as I said, but give it a look there is ; fortunately, a lot more appealing recipies than repulsive..

Chocolate by hand

..is simply the best chocolate you can get, then I don't care about Rittersport, Twix, Hersheys etc. I do hope that people out there had tried chocolate made by hand in some sort of way, whatever if you experienced in your own kitchen, went to rocky mountain chocolate or any local proffesionel chocolate shop - if not, you do not know what chocolate is. My self as a chocoholic have a hard time to ignore chocolate shops with handmade chocolate on the streets. Such an smell, so many different kinds, so beautiful in their small little white boxes - an addiction. The pictures is from a little Danish chocolate company, unfortunately the location is far awy from my home but my cusins always send it for christmas, and when I visit them my visit is not completed without kjaerstrup chocolate.

Why the cholcolate is attractive to women or the other way around..

99% of women loves chocolate!! Why is it so? 
Well yes, it tastes greeeat and nothing else can melt on your tongue and be as tastefull in the same time as chocolate can. I looked the question up and found some interesting facts;
First of all does women produce more fat-cells than men and women therefore attend to need more sugar and also; without that women knows it they regulate their hormones. Second does chocolate contains phenylethylamine which is a chemical that should be the exact same chemical that is released in our brain when we fall in love = it gives people a natural ''high'', and we feel extremely good it makes our mood changes, we fly and we dream.

When womens eat chocolate it realease so many chemicals in the brain that it actually sometimes feels even as good or better to them to have sex..

Leave as a friend

So.. I haven't spend a lot of my time in Downtown, Fort Collins, YET.

But yesterday, I went out celebrating Friday night when I ended up in one of my -now newly experiented- favourite places in .. The World!  After a recommendation from a friend we went in to this little, yellowish lightening, warm-looking place; The Chocolate Cafe
A place where the speciality is Chocolate desserts -yeah someone really made every chocoholic's dream come true. The Menu card is 1/5 filled with small dinners, and then the rest is CHOCOLATE DESSERTS - everything from plain brownie served with ice-cream to black and white cheesecake to Chocolate creme brulee AND everything in between! What makes me even more possitive about this place; the first drink on the becerage-card is a big glass of milk - The drink from God - which seems to be the most perfect drink to chocolate. So now; If I have not make my point clear enough, then I think the pictures can tell..



Pssssst; not only is it a pleasure for your mouth, the atmosphere is fantastich with nice smoothcolors and absolutely perfect wall paintings. I looked up from one of the best desserts in my life and read on the wall;

May all enter as guests - and leave as friends

-No doubt, I gave a great tip and made it clear to the friendly waitress that I would be back.

A drink from God

.. What is your biggest thirst for, after a chocoholic-freak-out?

Orange juice wouldn't be a bad thing, neither would water.

But the most important and most perfect match will always be a big glass of ice-cool MILK !

I don't know about you, but I'm pretty sure that chocolate and milk are made for each other; most likely the Clicé of what were Lady without tramp, what were Chocolate without milk?
Myself included has a hard time eating a nice peace of chocolate (or four) if I can't get a nice cool glass of milk to let it down with.

Anyway, milk often makes my mornings or days, Milk is a gift from God, God created the Cow, and teh Cow givs us the Milk.

Be thankfull, drink a huge glass of milk and enjoy your day (and don't forget your daily dose of chocolate)

Don't you just hate those people who can say ''no thank you'' to a piece of brownie chocolate when you you need it the most and it is right in front of you?.. Smells so good... Starring at you..
One part of you scream's; don't take it, you don't need it and you're strong enough to say NO.
The other part.. wins

Next time, ignore the ''say no part'', we have one life to live and that's the best excuse to enjoy and give yourself want YOU want.

Don't blame yourself a piece of chocolate, never!
